Above, a recent pumpkin harvest.  The date on the barn is 1853.  Below is a view of the barn from a side angle

The R. L. Sharp Stone Co. was west of Sugar Grove.  Again, we don't know the date, but the picture (we think) shows 18 people.  Presumably, these are employees of the Company and two of those pictured are women.

Robert Edward Sharp and "Bud" Sharp cut straw the hard way.  There is no date on this picture, but obviously  is was before the days of the tractor and gasoline mowers and bailers.  It was back-breaking work, too.

We've had to work to make this one work, but it is a precious family picture.  The pine trees were planted in 1880 from nursery stock; Robert Lee Sharp Sr. is  seated. We  suspect this was taken in early 1900s.
